I was detained not booked or arrested today for signing a signature on a box that wasn't mine and the box ended up having Marijiuana in it.

It could mean one of two things: Either (a) there is a pending warrant out for your arrest, in which event you would be arrested and booked, or (b) no warrant has yet been issued, but the police are applying for a warrant which would permit them to formally arrest and book you. If you were detained, but not booked or arrested and then released, this may mean that the police are now seeking a warrant for your arrest, and will come back later to arrest and book you. In either case, you need to immediately retain criminal defense counsel. You cannot talk your way out of this, and you should not be speaking with the police without a lawyer being present.
