A criminal record has no bearing on your eligibility to file bankruptcy. Even if you have a misdemeanor you can file a bankruptcy petition.

I don't see why not. Although I have not specifically researched the question, it has never come up and lots of people have misdemeanors. Where I live you can get one for your dog being unleashed.
